About Utting Wolff

The people behind Utting Wolff Spouts are Geoff Jones and Claudia Gillberg, the former a masters student in medicinal chemistry and the latter a PhD in Education. As teenagers we were both hit by myalgic encephalomyelitis and our combined experience of (living with) this illness gives us a bit of an insight into an array of fields. As we have managed to muddle our way through to a number of degrees, job titles and countries we fancy ourselves slightly qualified to spout on science, medical, societal, social, political and cultural matters on occasion. This is essential reading. The media has a huge responsibility for societal development. Are they shouldering that responsibility at this point in time? We don’t think so.

I created this blog in August 2012 to publish my investigations into the so-called “Secret files on ME/CFS”. It was set up rather hurriedly in order to counteract some misinformation which was circulating at the time. My work was not finished when I started the blog and it took me some time to complete the process. In the absence of any proper treatment for ME/CFS (Myalgic Encephalomyelitis/Chronic Fatigue Syndrome), my health continues to deteriorate and my progress is painfully slow. (Note: the name of this illness is hotly disputed. For the purposes of this blog, I adopt the term “ME/CFS” as my least worst compromise).
